DSLR-101: How To Get Your Camera To Do What You Want It To Do
These days anyone and everyone can have their own DSLR camera. But most people never use anything other than the "Auto" settings. This class will cover the basics of Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO, as well as lens choice, and help you understand how to use these features individually to give you more creative control over your camera. Please bring your own camera and manual to class.
Jennifer Batts is a landscape and portrait photographer living in Holland, MI. Growing up in West Michigan, she has always loved the lakeshore, its lighthouses, and its glorious sunsets as subjects for her work. In the last several years, she has traveled to many wild and scenic places in the US, including national parks like Zion, Death Valley, Olympic, Yosemite, Acadia, and the Smoky Mountains. With each exploration, she attempts to capture some of the impact these diverse and breathtaking landscapes have had on her. You can see some of her landscape work at www.jenniferbattsphotography.com and on Instagram @jenniferbattsphotography.
While nature and landscape photography has always been her first love, she also has a special place in her heart for portrait work, particularly with high school seniors. Each June through October you will find her working with young men and women who are preparing to embark on the next stage of their life's journey. Her portrait website is www.imagesbyjennifer.net and on Instagram - @imagesbyjennifer
