Workshop Description:
Discover the most interesting elements from your source material as you mold the design elements to fit your unique creative vision. Donna shares her process for structuring and personalizing paintings and breaks it down into manageable steps, approaching design firmly in place, you will be free to focus on glorious, intuitive, and personal color. In demos, discussions and lectures, Donna will help you create paintings that say as much about you as they do about your subject.

All levels are welcome and this workshop is open to all media. Donna will be using watercolor and white gouache in her classroom demonstrations. Students will work from their own reference materials (photos, sketches, etc.) and can bring paintings in progress to work on or begin new paintings in class.
