Splash 10-Ten West Michigan Watercolorist, is the exhibit on display during the month of May in the Walburg Gallery at the Gallery Uptown. Award winning artists included in the exhibition are: Margaret Benefiel, Dawna Dziedzic, Robert Hubbach, Darlene Dewald Johnson, Helen Percy Lystra, Veronica Morgan, Kimiko Petersen, Ann Trowbridge, Mary Sundstrom, and Ann Whitmore.

Each of these artists use water media to create very different effects in their finished works of art. Watercolor is said to be one of the most challenging mediums to use yet each of these artists show superb control with the many aspects and characteristics of watercolor, from the application of unique color and texture to transparent layering and the rendering of minute details.

The exhibit will run from May 3rd to May 29th.
