The annual fine arts and crafts fair, Art in the Park is the first Saturday of August in Holland. The event draws one of the largest influx of visitors to the city on a single day, second only to Tulip Time. About three hundred fine artists and artisans from eight states will be on hand to display and sell their work. Approximately fifteen thousand art enthusiasts and shoppers will attend the event. Art in the Park is advertised statewide by multimedia. Art in the Park is a juried show. All items for sale must be original. The registration fee is $90 (HFA members $80) or $160 for a double wide space or $150 for a double deep space. This fee includes a $20 application fee.
